National Hospital Week is just around the corner. Too often we as a whole don’t take enough time to step back, take notice of all the hard work the members of a hospital do every day, and tell them “thank you.” We forget the dedicated nurses who care for us in the emergency rooms, the therapists who work with us tirelessly to see to our full recovery, the administrators who never rest from ensuring that their organization is fully-functioning and serving the community to its greatest ability, and many other professionals.
We at MDsyncNET invite you to take the time to celebrate National Hospital Week, and acknowledge our hospitals’ men and women who support the health of their communities through compassion, constant innovation, and unmatched dedication.
First celebrated on Florence Nightingale’s birthday on May 12, 1921, National Hospital Day was originally thought up by a Chicago magazine editor. The editor though the day would help encourage trust in the city’s hospitals during the time of the deadly Spanish flu outbreak, which claimed the lives of more than 600,000 Americans.
The event then expanded to an entire week in 1953 and is now celebrated in every state during the week of Florence Nightingale's birthday as a reminder that our hospitals are foundations of our communities and the people they serve.
MDsyncNET is a big supporter and also a collaborator of hospitals. Just as these organizations have a long-standing history of acknowledging the contributions they make to their communities, MDsyncNET makes a contribution to help hospitals’ operation run more smoothly. For more than a decade, our system helps encourage improvement through their technologies, resources, and improved efficiencies, leading to fewer frustrations.
When your organization makes the decision to use our services, you will find that your hospital will better serve not only your internal community of nurses, doctors, medical staff services professionals, and others, but it will also contribute to the betterment of the community at large. We provide several benefits including eliminating the need to use paper by converting paper to digital formats. When an authorized user makes changes, those with access online can immediately see the on call scheduling update. Our system works arm-in-arm with hospitals and administrative leaders to help propagate improved efficiencies and higher levels of satisfaction.
Consider taking the time out this one week of the year to tell the hardworking people in your organization “thank you” for all that they do. To thank them further, consider investing in MDsyncNET’s services if you haven’t already. We help hospitals better help the community they serve! See how we can help at mdsyncnet.com!
